Installing Business Automation Insights catalog and operator instances in an on-line cluster

You can install multiple IBM Business Automation Insights production deployments on the same cluster where each IBM Business Automation Insights deployment has its own IBM Business Automation Insights instance.

About this task

If you plan to install a IBM Business Automation Insights deployment using OpenShift console, use Setting up the cluster in the OpenShift console. If you plan to install a IBM Business Automation Insights deployment by running the scripts, use Setting up the cluster by running a script.

Important: Before you set up the cluster, check the openshift-operators namespace to find installed operators. If operators of another Cloud Pak are installed in All namespaces on the cluster, then install IBM Business Automation Insights 24.0.0 on a different cluster. Always install foundational services with IBM Business Automation Insights in a namespace-scoped instance.
