Adding a QlikView connector

Learn how to add a QlikView connector.

Procedure

  1. Launch Analytics Content Hub and log in with an admin account.
  2. Click your avatar (your initials on the top right).
  3. Select Manage Analytics Content Hub.
  4. Click Content.
  5. Click New Connector.
  6. Click the QlikView option.
  7. In the Give it a name section, enter a name, for example, QlikView.
  8. In the Choose the version section, select the version of your QlikView server.
  9. In the System Credentials section, enter the user name, password, and namespace information of a system account that has access to everything.
    Note: Namespace is the User directory in QMC.
  10. For the Your Account section, enter a valid user account to finish the configuration. If you have a Qlik Sense account, select a different account and then enter the username, password and namespace.
  11. In the Server Information section, enter the Qlik Web Server and Qlik Management Server URLs.
  12. In the Properties section, enter the Qlik Management Port Number (provided by the QlikView admin), Service Key (provided by the QlikView admin), theiaAuthPortNumber (this is the port number that you entered in step 3 of Steps to Install the QlikView NTFS Auth Application).  For example:
  13. Click NEXT.
  14. Click Done when you are finished.

Results

The QlikView connector is created and you can now add content.
