Setting custom metadata values

When you create a custom field that defines the metadata schema, you can set values for different objects.

Important: You must have the Set Custom Field Values role to be able to edit or set custom fields values.

Procedure

  1. Click the avatar icon and start the Explore Content tool.
  2. Open a dashboard or a report that you need.
  3. Hover over the content object and click the More icon, then select Properties.
  4. Navigate to the Details section and click the pencil icon to edit the custom field values.
  5. Select the values that you need and click the checkmark icon to save them.

You can view the metadata values in the Details panel.
