In addition to content from Business Analytics and Content Management systems, Analytics Content Hub supports adding custom URL objects to the content store.

The link appears alongside other content and has the same properties and capabilities as other catalog objects. For example, you can: set a custom thumbnail, custom metadata fields, add ratings and comments, and search for it.

When you add a URL object, you can access the link by clicking the three vertical dots icon and selecting either View or View in new tab options.

Procedure

  1. Click your avatar icon and select Explore Content.
  2. Click the three horizontal dots icon and select Create link.
  3. In the Link properties window, provide the link name, target URL address, and description. Mark the Link can be embedded checkbox if you want to reuse the link on other pages.
  4. Click Save to create a new catalog entry for the URL object.
