Search Management Interface
Get familiar with the Search Management Interface.
Getting to the Search Management Interface
- Click your Avatar icon and select Manage IBM Analytics Content Hub.
- Select Content and then click Search.
Viewing searchable folders
You can view all folders that are searchable in the Search Management Interface.
To filter all searchable folders by their connector, click the drop-down list and select one of the options.
Hover over the Information icon to get the index summary of that folder. The summary includes such information as last scan, next scan, index size, and average index time.
Click the Folder refresh icon to see the indexing schedule of a folder. You can also adjust the schedule from this view.
Content Distribution
The Search Management Interface also has a Content Distribution visualization. It shows the number of indexed items for each system that contributes to your content store.
Warning: Some Indexes Failed
This warning displays all indexes that failed and you can also re-run them from that level.
Schedule Timing
The Schedule Timing section helps you identify index schedules that overlap, which might negatively impact the application responsiveness. You can filter this view by the time frame and by the connector.
For improved user experience, schedule index rebuilds outside of heavy user activity hours.
Scan Performance
The Scan Performance section tracks the items per minute of a scan over time. A degrade in time might suggest performance issues with the connected system. You can filter the results by the connector.
