Creating a Qlik Sense certificate

Learn how to create a Qlik Sense certificate.

Procedure

  1. Launch Qlik Management Console (QMC).
  2. Under CONFIGURE SYSTEM, click Certificates.
  3. Enter the name of the Analytics Content Hub server.
  4. Enter the certificate password and then enter it again to confirm.
  5. Note the location where the certificate will be exported to, and then click Export certificates.
  6. In File Explorer, navigate to where the certificate was exported to, for example, C:\ProgramData\Qlik\Sense\Repository\Exported Certificates.
  7. Copy and paste the generated certificate to a folder on the Analytics Content Hub server.
    Note: The folder must be outside of the Analytics Content Hub installation location, for example, C:\Qlikcerts.
