Importing custom field data and schema

You can import field schema definition and metadata into Analytics Content Hub to restore the data on a server.

This process might take some time, depending on the amount of data to import.

Important: When importing the values, the internal IDs for each content system connector must match.

Procedure

  1. Click the avatar icon and select Manage IBM Analytics Content Hub to open the control center.
  2. Expand the Content section by clicking the down arrow and select the Custom Fields option.
  3. To import the custom fields schema, click the Import fields option and select the MetadataSchema.json file.
  4. To import the custom fields values, click the Import data option and select the Exported_Metadata_Archive.json file.
