Connecting to Planning Analytics

Learn to connect Analytics Content Hub to Planning Analytics.

Before you begin

Ensure that you perform this task:

About this task

You can create a connector to Planning Analytics.
Important: To start the task, you need to have administrator access.

Procedure

  1. Open the Analytics Content Hub Control Center.
  2. Click Connectors and select New Connector.
  3. Select IBM Planning Analytics with Watson.
  4. Provide a name for the Connector.
  5. Select PAW Authentication as the Authentication Method (even if you're using authentication mode 1 or 5, select PAW Authentication).
  6. Provide the System Credentials that is used for indexing the Planning Analytics content.
    1. If the system credential used is not the same as your credential, then select the A different account option in the Your Account section.
  7. To connect successfully, under Server information, provide the Base URL for the PAW Server.
  8. Click Next and add content to the Analytics Content Hub environment.

What to do next

When you complete adding the connector, you need to enable source content for it to be accessible in Analytics Content Hub.
