Extractor and Validator

Extractors and validator are used to extract words from a document and validate them.

Steps for Extractors

1. Select Extractors from the Object type or Add new
2. There are three ways to add extractors to the key class.
   1. Select one or more extractors from object type. The left panel shows the extractors defined on the object type. If you want to assign them to the current object type, just check the boxes next to them.
   2. Customize the extractor from object Type. When selecting an extractor from object type, its definition is shown on the right panel in a view mode. Click Customize As New to change the definition in the edit mode.
   3. Create a custom extractor from the beginning. Click Create a new extractor link to create a custom extractor. The right panel shows an empty extractor definition.
   You can update or delete a custom extractor.

Steps for Validators

3. Select Validators from the Object type or Add new
4. Assign the validator to a key class, which is similar as assigning extractors. There are three ways:
   1. Select one or more validators from the object type
   2. Customize a validator from the object type
   3. Create a new validator from the beginning

   There are two types of validators: Pattern and Dictionary.
