Saving your file as a CSV File

Procedure

To save your file as a CSV file, do the following steps:
  1. Select File > Save as. Choose the appropriate folder on your local hard drive.
  2. Type the file name.
  3. From the Save as type list, select one of the following options:
    • For Windows operating systems, select CSV (comma Delimited) (*.csv)
    • For Macintosh operating systems, select CSV (windows) (*.csv)
  4. Click Save. A Microsoft Excel dialog box appears regarding Excel not supporting workbooks that contain multiple sheets.
  5. Click OK to save the active worksheet. Another Microsoft Excel dialog box appears stating that your file might contain features that are not compatible with CSV (Comma delimited).
  6. Click Yes to keep the format that leaves out any incompatible features.
