Changing interchange status

The Inbox View page enables you to change the status of an interchange, if authorized. Your decisions on this page are determined by how you receive data from your mailslot.

When changing the status of an interchange, consider the following:

  • If you receive data by retrieving it from your mailslot, you can change the status from Picked Up or Archived to Available. This ability enables you to download an interchange again.
  • You can change the status from Available to Picked Up without actually downloading the data. This ability enables you to remove interchanges from your mailslot that are duplicates. For more information, see Marking as picked up (for available data only).
  • You cannot pick up or restore all data from the Search or Document Search view. A check box next to data indicates the available data you can pick up or restore.
  • If you receive data automatically because it is dialed to you (event-driven data) or if B2B Integration SaaS pushes data to you, you can change the status from Dialed to Dialing. This ability enables B2B Integration SaaS to redial an interchange to your system. For more information, see Redialing to your system (for event-driven data only).
