Document detail events
Depending on the services to which you are subscribed, you might see additional events in the File table of the Document detail page beyond Received, Processed, and Sent.
Acknowledgment statuses
When your company is onboarded, it can choose whether or not to receive acknowledgments from its trading partners. These acknowledgments tell your company whether or not the data that it sent to its trading partners was received successfully. Opting into this feature adds an Acknowledgment status to your documents and files, which is visible in the Acknowledged field of your search results as well as the Document detail page. You can also use an Advanced search to search by acknowledgment status.
Possible risks of restarting and resending files
Using InFlight to restart and resend files can be risky because there is a chance that duplicate data could be sent to your trading partners.
Restart and resend permissions
Your default permissions to Restart files and Resend files depend on your client and user type.
Enhanced Translation Reports
Enhanced Translation Reports are created when there is an enveloping or translation error and enough information is known about the error to produce a report. When a report is generated, it is located in the Attachment details tab of the Document detail page. If you receive email alerts for translation errors, it is also attached to that email as a PDF.
SAP status messages
If you are subscribed to the SAP Status feature, you can use InFlight to track SAP status messages by searching for the document type SAPSTAT. Click a document to see more information about it on the Document detail page.
Generic status messages
If you are subscribed to the Generic status feature, you can use InFlight to track Generic status messages by searching for the document type STATUS. Click a document to see more information about it on the Document detail page.
IBM Sterling Supplier Portal messages
If you are using the Vendor ID feature of the Sterling Supplier Portal application, you can use InFlight to locate documents related to a particular Vendor ID. Go to the Advanced drop-down menu on the Search for documents search criteria panel, select ExtraInfo1 in the Business field 1 field, and type the supplier-specific Vendor ID in the text box.
Carbon copy status messages
Sometimes by your request or due to a processing need, IBM will make a copy of your data. This copy is retained within IBM and is called a carbon copy.
