Reference in BTI Learn more about how BTI processes your document data. Arrows in transaction flowsIt's all about the direction of the documents in your transaction. If you receive orders and payments, you are probably sending out acknowledgments, advanced shipment notices, and invoices. The directionality arrows are especially helpful if your company acts as both a supplier and a buyer.Time frame for the past weekBTI classifies the past week as the last seven days up to the current time, or the past 168 hours.Summary fields for each milestoneThe summary fields for each milestone are based on the contents of the EDI document and are specific to that particular milestone.Trading partner nameBy default, each trading partner's name is displayed as either the Sender ID or Receiver ID from the EDI document. If your trading partner is receiving a document from you, then their name will be displayed as the Receiver ID. If your trading partner has sent a document to you, then their name will be displayed as the Sender ID. However, if you have defined a trading partner's name in B2Bi SaaS, the name you have defined will replace these IDs. Assigning the same trading partner name to multiple EDI IDsIf you have a trading partner that has more than one Trading partner EDI ID, you can assign the same trading partner name to each Trading partner EDI ID in B2Bi SaaS. Then, when you search for this trading partner name in BTI, all of the Trading partner EDI IDs associated with that trading partner will be included in your search results. Connecting all known Trading partner EDI IDs to a trading partner's name helps ensure that you are getting the most complete picture of their data.Dates and timesDepending on their location, dates and times reflect either the EDI date and time or the system date and time. The EDI date and time is pulled from EDI data, whereas the system date and time reflects when documents were received or processed by BTI.Bill of lading in some shipments and a manifest in othersYou will either see a bill of lading or a manifest depending on the shipment identifier included in the contents of the EDI document.Time zones used in searchTime zones don't impact searching because BTI returns search results based on when the system processed the document. For example, a query like Show me orders I got today would return orders that were processed today in BTI.Search query with one result does not go directly to a transaction flowA non-anchored search with one result still brings up a results page to indicate that it is a general result.CalculationsMilestone detailsMultiple EDI fields and documents are combined to provide information for the Order, Acknowledge, Ship, Invoice and Pay milestones.Document standardsDifferent document standards are implemented for the various documents that Business Transaction Intelligence supports.Registration in progressCopyright, license, and permission noticesCertain licenses require specific copyrights and permissions.
