Enabling Peppol

Peppol can be enabled by contacting your IBM support representative or IBM Customer success Manager. Peppol is available for all B2B Integration SaaS customers.

Supply Chain Business Network Essentials edition is Peppol enabled, however you must create the Peppol XML messages. For more information, see IBM Peppol "on the VAN" made easy.

Procedure

  1. Contact IBM support or your IBM Customer Success Manager.
  2. Accept the additional terms of service.
  3. Essentials edition: Transform your data to or from the Peppol XML format as required and validate against the Peppol BIS rules for your destination.
  4. Provide your Peppol ID and your trading partner's Peppol ID.

    The Peppol directory (https://directory.peppol.eu) is a searchable index of Peppol enabled users.

    You can find most Peppol IDs and the document types that a Peppol user is able to receive. (The directory does not list all users as the drectory is not yet mandatory for Peppol Service Providers.)

  5. Wait to be notified that your setup is complete.
  6. Send or receive Peppol transactions.
