Getting information about a document or file

The Document detail page displays when you click anywhere on a row of search result data, and shows detailed information about that item and its related processing events.

Fields and descriptions

The Document detail page reproduces the general tracking information from the previous search page, including the overall status of the data. Each customer has a different view in this area and a different list of fields. In addition to general tracking information, this page might include the following fields:

Field Description
EDI Standard X12 or EDIFACT, depending on what type of EDI is contained in the document.
Process ID Identifies the business process number of the workflow that tracked the document.
Source Message ID Identifies the protocol that is used to send or receive the message.
  • AS2 is the AS2 Message Identifier from the Message-ID HTTP header
  • MQ inbound is the batch number from B2B Integration SaaS
  • MQ outbound is the MQ message identifier of the message that was put on the MQ queue
Destination Message ID Identifies the protocol that is used to send or receive the message.
  • AS2 is the AS2 Message Identifier from the Message-ID HTTP header
  • MQ inbound is the batch number from B2B Integration SaaS
  • MQ outbound is the MQ message identifier of the message that was put on the MQ queue

File details, Event details, and Attachment details

The Document detail page has tabs that show information about the data for an event:

  • File details – Shows the raw data as processed for the associated event. The File details tab also allows you to set the encoding type you want to see, or to set a character or line wrap. You can also click Download file to open or save the file.
    Note: To prevent long loading times, the File details tab has a display limit of 32,768 bytes. Click Download file to view the entire contents of a file over this limit.
  • Event details – Shows processing information about the associated event.
  • Attachment details – Shows any associated attachments. The metadata of each attachment is shown and you can click Download to open or save attachments.
