Code list process flow overview

The code list process flow includes all the actions necessary to deploy a code list into the production environment.

A code list consists of one or more dynamic pairs of code values that contain sender code and receiver code. Code lists are used by some transformation maps. Each code pair in a code list includes one description. Also, each unique combination of sender and receiver code can have up to nine associated values. These associated values are typically used either as a lookup reference during transformation or as a substitution value during transformation.

Restriction: Follow the user interface to create code lists. Do not use Insomnia for priming the code lists. For code list creation process, refer to Creating code lists.

Configuration Hub code list process flow that uses the same content in Customer Test Environment (CTE) and production

This code list process flow is for a code list that uses the same content in the CTE and production environments. The Code list type setting configures whether the content is the same or different. This process flow describes the interactions between the user, processes, and the environments to which their actions apply. For more information, refer to Deploying a non-variant code list.

Configuration Hub code list process flow that uses different content in CTE and production

This code list process flow is for a code list that uses different content in the CTE and production environments. The Code list type setting configures whether the content is the same or different. This process flow describes the interactions between the user, processes, and the environments to which their actions apply. For more information, refer to Deploying a variant code list.
