Discarding PGP key edits

As a user, company administrator (admin), or a representative of IBM Support team, you can discard the edit for a PGP key.

Before you begin

Important: The discard edit feature is applicable for only those PGP keys that are in the Work in progress status and have not been deployed to Customer Test Environment (CTE). Unless you are company administrator (admin) or from IBM Support, you can discard the edit for only those PGP keys that you own.

About this task

When you need to undo the changes and edits you made to a PGP that you own, use the following steps to discard the changes.

Procedure

  1. From the side navigation menu, select Company resources > Keys and certificates. Then, on the PGP keys list page or the Trading partners PGP key list page, select the Action options menu, and click Discard.
  2. On the Confirmation window, click Discard.
    The version is decremented to the last deployed version. For example, if the PGP key version was 2.1, it reverts to version 1.1.
    Attention: If the PGP key is in version 1.1, then the key is deleted.
