Compare PGP keys

As the company administrator (admin), or IBM Support, or a business user, you can compare PGP keys that are deployed in the CTE and production environments.

About this task

Sometimes you need to compare if you have deployed the same PGP key in the CTE and production environments. You can run a comparison from the PGP key list and details pages, and Trading partner PGP key list and details pages, respectively.

Procedure

  1. If you are running the PGP key comparison from the PGP key details page, click Compare from the action ribbon. Alternatively, if you are running the PGP key comparison from the PGP Key list and Trading partner PGP key list pages, then select Compare from within the Action options menu.
  2. Click Run PGP key comparison.
    The application runs a comparison between the PGP keys that are deployed in the CTE and production environments and displays either of the following messages as the result:
    • PGP keys are the same in CTE and production.
    • PGP keys are different in CTE and production.
