Accessing and viewing PGP key list page

As the company administrator (admin), or IBM Support, or a business user, you can add, edit, or view the PGP key details by selecting the PGP keys tab in Keys and certificates within Company resources from the side navigation menu.

About this task

You can:
  • Edit, lock, or delete a PGP key.
  • Sort the PGP key list in the ascending or descending order by clicking the PGP key name column heading.
You can use the search functions on the PGP key tab. The search is not case-sensitive. Therefore, you can enter any part of the PGP key name. Use Filter to refine the results and to search for PGP keys by the following filter criteria:
  • Business alias
  • Compliance status
  • Partner company (Displays for only those PGP keys that are associated with trading partners)
  • Partner business (Displays for only those PGP keys that are associated with trading partners)

The PGP key tab on the Keys and certificates list page includes the following information:

Field name Description
Status The status of your PGP key. Shows whether the PGP key is in Work in progress and Final.
Name Displays the name of your PGP key.
Owned by Displays the name of the person who locked the key for editing.
Partner name Displays only for the Trading partner resources window. Displays the name of the associated trading partner.
Production version Displays the most recent version of the PGP key that is deployed in the production environment.
CTE version Displays the most recent version of the PGP key that is deployed in CTE.
Key origin Displays whether the key was generated by IBM or was created by the user.
Note:
  • All keys with the flag have different contents that are deployed in the CTE and production environments. Such PGP keys are called variant PGP keys.
  • All noncompliant PGP public keys are flagged with an icon against them. For more information about valid algorithms, see List of algorithms for a valid PGP key.
  • As a user, you can click the download icon to download the latest public key deployed in the production environment. If the key is deployed in only CTE, then the option is unavailable.
  • A PGP key that you can share with your trading partner contains the share icon.
