Managing BTI company administrators manage their data and visibility. Information shown on the dashboardThe dashboard displays insights into your supply chain processes and customer relationships through widgets and graphs.Searching in the dashboardNatural language query can be flexible and natural in how actual queries are worded. An explanation of the interpretation is restated in the results to ensure that the query was understood correctly. A variety of sample phrasings is provided, along with the supported variations. Keep your phrases simple and include context so that the correct fields are searched.Grayed out milestone icon in transaction flowA grayed out milestone indicates that BTI hasn't processed any documents related to that milestone. We can only show documents that go through BTI, so even if you do have a document related to a specific milestone, it won't appear in the transaction flow if it's not a document BTI handles.Milestone size (anchor documents)Milestones that appear significantly larger in the transaction flow are called anchor documents.Representation of partial milestonesHow your partial milestones are represented depends on which milestone is your anchor.Updates to Order milestoneDepending on the path that your order takes through BTI, you might see updates on your document flow screen that notify you of changes to your Order milestone.Milestone statusThe supported statuses vary for each milestone.Order statusThe overall flow status, displayed in the header of the order flow page, is the Order status. For flows that are anchored on Order or Acknowledge, this status reflects the progress of all the milestones. There might be multiple documents for each milestone, such as several shipments, so the order status simplifies the complexity to provide the overall picture. Order to cash transactionsThere are several important things to monitor within your order to cash transactions.Orders associated with shipmentsYou might already know the shipment ID. Or, if you know one of the orders and want to see if there are others in the same shipment, you can get the shipment ID in the order details. Just copy it from there and paste it into the search bar. Click the Ship milestone icon to see the details. All the orders are listed there.Document information in InFlightIf you process your documents through SCBN, you can use the SCBN document code to get more information about a document using InFlight's Document detail screen.Duplicate documentsDuplicate documents are counted within the widgets on the dashboard, but are ignored within the transaction flows.Monitoring orders by shipping statusOnce your order is being processed, we help you keep track of shipment status messages and how they affect the overall state of your order.Provisioning user data from Customer Center to BTIAn IBM administrator must give Customer Center access to a company administrator before user data can be provisioned.Changing how data is mappedYou can use the BTI Document configuration tool under Settings > Document configuration to create custom mappings of your EDI documents.Handling orders without purchase order numbersSome orders for certain trading partners might not have valid purchase order numbers, or might use the Purchase Order Number field for other purposes. This can cause large numbers of orders with the same Purchase Order Number being aggregated with each other. One Purchase Order Number could erroneously have hundreds of orders related to it. To prevent this, a custom document configuration is needed.AnomaliesBTI uses artificial intelligence and machine learning to detect anomalies in your supply chain document transactions.Missing or inaccurate data (Error alarms)Review the Errors alarms if you notice missing or inaccurate information when you browse through transaction flows. An error is recorded when a document is loaded to BTI but the information cannot be displayed in the user interface.Custom business viewsCustom business views combine many SCN mailslots into one business view. Adding a mailslot to a custom business viewAfter a company admin creates a custom business view in User management, they select the ones to add from a list of available mailslots. Only mailslots that receive data in BTI and do not belong to another business view are listed. A mailslot can only belong to one business view.Removing a mailslot from a business viewRemove mailslots from a business view in User management > Custom business views.
