Troubleshooting processing errors
If a file or document has failed conversion, it shows a red status for the Processed event on the Document detail page. If a conversion error occurs, you will also receive an email notification that directs you to log in to InFlight and provides instructions for locating and using the Process ID to search for additional information.
To examine a report of the failed event, click the failed Processed event and then examine the Event details tab to find the source of the failure.
To examine the first 32K of the raw data at the point where processing stopped, click the failed Processed event and then look in the File details tab for the failed event.
Customers who are configured for pre- or post-translation processing services might see an XProcessing message if a processing error occurs. If you receive an XProcessing error, do one of the following:
| On the Document detail page, click the event with: | and examine the File details and Event details tabs to... |
|---|---|
| XProcessorReport.dat | determine the type of error |
| XprocessorData.dat | view a portion of the actual data to see where the error might have occurred in the process |
