Map editor errors
When setting up the map editor or updating an ODBC data source, you might encounter errors.
Mime type error
When you use IBM Sterling B2B Integrator Map Editor for running map test, you might encounter an error. To resolve the error and to run the map test correctly, use SPE Remote Map Test.
SSL error
If you are using an older version of the map editor, you can encounter the following error message:
SSL Error - version of Java Runtime does not support the TLS version on server.
This error is because the older map editor versions did not support TLS 1.2. For installation instructions, see Downloading and setting up the map editor.
Map editor installation issue
Sometimes, the map editor installation fails. It is because you do not have the administrator privileges for the folder, directory, or computer on which you are installing the map editor. To resolve the issue, get the administrator access from your system administrator. Or, install the map editor on a folder, directory, or computer where you might have the administrator privileges.
Standards database not showing
The Standards database is not available for users to access if the database is installed only for the administrator. To resolve the issue, get the administrator access from your system administrator. Or, install the Standards database on a folder, directory, or computer where you might have the administrator privileges.
