Adding CTE configurations for inbound (push) connection

After you create a connection, set the CTE configuration for your company to initiate the connection and send the data to Configuration Hub.

Procedure

  1. The URL is predefined based on your company's settings in Configuration Hub.
  2. Select the Key that you want to set up for this connection. If the keyset is available for use, its corresponding Header and Value display automatically.

However, if you selected HTTPS, input the following parameters.

    • Encoding parameters from the drop down. As of now, Configuration Hub supports three encoding parameters, ISO-8859-1, UTF-8, and WINDOWS-1251. ISO-8859-1 is set as the default parameter.
    • To extract attachments, select the Extract attachments checkbox. For more information, see Extract attachments.
    • Use the Custom success response (Optional) field to input a custom response that is displayed on establishing a connection successfully.
    • Use the Custom error response (Optional) field to input a custom response that is displayed if an error is encountered.
    • Set the Response headers to On to input the header that you want to receive in response by using the Key and Value pair. For more information about the acceptable values for the response headers, see Query and header values.
  3. If you enabled external integration when setting up the connection, select an integration system from the External system drop down.
  4. To deploy to the test environment, click Deploy to CTE.
  5. If you test the connection using the B2Bi SaaS API Gateway, select the Yes checkbox.
For more information, see IBM Sterling B2Bi SaaS API Gateway.
  6. To proceed, click Continue to production. Or click Save.
