Adding pull connections to send data

As a company administrator (admin), IBM Support, or a business user, you can set up a connection for your company or your trading partner to send data to IBM Sterling B2B Integration SaaS by using published REST API protocol. This connection is set only as private, and is not shared with other companies.

About this task

Any user can add a new inbound connection by selecting Company resources > Connections from the Configuration Hub the navigation menu.

Procedure

  1. Select the HTTPS method.
    By default, GET is selected.
  2. Input the URL.
  3. From the Connections list page, select New connection.
  4. Select the type of business alias from CTE business alias and its corresponding Production business alias displays automatically.
  5. On the New connections window, select the type of connection you want to set up by using the Protocol drop-down.
    As of now, only the API protocol is supported.
  6. Input the name of the connection you need to set up in Connection name.
    By default, the Hybrid connection checkbox is selected for the connection protocol that is set to API.
  7. Select Sending data.
  8. If you selected the Protocol as API, the Who would initiate a connection? section, select a Pull type connection.
  9. Enter the description in Connection description (optional).
  10. Select Create connection to create an inbound connection.
