Activating and deactivating connections
As a user, company administrator (admin), or a representative of IBM Support, you can activate or deactivate a connection.
About this task
A deactivated connection, which is in the Inactive status cannot be used in transactions. After you deactivate a connection, those trading partners that were using this connection cannot use the connection, unless you activate it.
You can activate and deactivate both private and public connections
from the My connections list page. However, you can activate or deactivate only
the private connection from the Trading partners list page.
Important: If you have not deployed your public or private
connection of the sending type into the CTE, you cannot activate or deactivate your
connection. You can deactivate only an outbound public connection.
