Adding trusted (truststore) certificates

Irrespective of your role, you can upload a trusted (also called a truststore) certificate.

About this task

To upload a trusted certificate, refer to the following procedure. Refer to this procedure if you selected Trusted certificate in the Add certificate window and chose to either make it Exclusive or Shareable.
Important: The following procedure is applicable for only exclusive trusted certificates. The shareable trusted certificates have a separate flow.

Procedure

  1. On the CTE configurations window, select a certificate to upload it.
The application supports trusted certificates of only the X5092 format.
  2. Optional: Provide a description.
  3. Click Upload.
  4. Click Deploy to CTE.
  5. If you have tested your trusted certificate on a system, select the Did you test your certificate checkbox.
  6. Optional: If you are uploading a trusted certificate of the variant type, repeat steps 1 - 6.
  7. To deploy the trusted certificate to the production environment, click Deploy to production.
After the trusted certificate is deployed to production, the application displays the SSL certificates list page.

What to do next

You can click the Action options menu to access the Show usage window. The window displays in tabular format a list of outbound connections that have access to the trusted certificate, along with the information about their protocols and versions.

You can click an SSL certificate to access its details. For more information, see Viewing SSL certificate details.
