Irrespective of your role, you can upload a trusted (also called a truststore)
certificate.
About this task
To upload a trusted certificate, refer to the following procedure. Refer to this procedure if you
selected
Trusted certificate in the
Add certificate
window and chose to either make it
Exclusive or
Shareable.
Important: The following procedure is applicable for
only exclusive trusted certificates. The shareable trusted certificates
have a separate flow.
Procedure
- On the CTE configurations window, select a certificate to upload
it.
The application supports trusted certificates of only the X5092
format.
- Optional: Provide a description.
- Click Upload.
- Click Deploy to CTE.
- If you have tested your trusted certificate on a system, select the Did you
test your certificate checkbox.
- Optional: If you are uploading a trusted certificate of the variant type,
repeat steps 1 - 6.
- To deploy the trusted certificate to the production environment, click Deploy
to production.
After the trusted certificate is deployed to production,
the application displays the SSL certificates list page.
What to do next
You can click the Action options menu to access the Show
usage window. The window displays in tabular format a list of outbound connections that
have access to the trusted certificate, along with the information about their protocols and
versions.You can click an SSL certificate to access its details. For more information, see Viewing SSL certificate details.
