Irrespective of your role, you can add a keystore or truststore (SSL)
certificate.
About this task
To add an SSL certificate, refer to the following instructions.
Procedure
- On the SSL certificates tab on the Keys and
certificates list page, click Add certificate to create an SSL
certificate.
- In the Add certificate window, select a CTE business
alias, which is your business account name.
The value for the
Production business alias field populates automatically.
- Provide a name for your SSL certificate.
- If you want to add a variant SSL certificate, that is, use a different SSL
certificate in the CTE and production environments, select the Uses a different
certificate in CTE and production checkbox.
Tip: A variant SSL certificate appears on the SSL
certificate tab on the Keys and certificates list page with a flag
icon.
- Select the type of certificate to upload.
- To upload a keystore certificate, choose System certificate. For more
information, see System certificates.
- To upload a truststore certificate, choose Trusted certificate. For more
information, see Trusted certificates.
- Required: If you selected Trusted certificate, choose
if you would like to make your certificate shareable. Otherwise, choose
Exclusive.
- Optional: Enter a description.
- Click Add.
