Adding SSL certificates

Irrespective of your role, you can add a keystore or truststore (SSL) certificate.

About this task

To add an SSL certificate, refer to the following instructions.

Procedure

  1. On the SSL certificates tab on the Keys and certificates list page, click Add certificate to create an SSL certificate.
  2. In the Add certificate window, select a CTE business alias, which is your business account name.
    The value for the Production business alias field populates automatically.
  3. Provide a name for your SSL certificate.
  4. If you want to add a variant SSL certificate, that is, use a different SSL certificate in the CTE and production environments, select the Uses a different certificate in CTE and production checkbox.
    Tip: A variant SSL certificate appears on the SSL certificate tab on the Keys and certificates list page with a flag icon.
  5. Select the type of certificate to upload.
    • To upload a keystore certificate, choose System certificate. For more information, see System certificates.
    • To upload a truststore certificate, choose Trusted certificate. For more information, see Trusted certificates.
  6. Required: If you selected Trusted certificate, choose if you would like to make your certificate shareable. Otherwise, choose Exclusive.
  7. Optional: Enter a description.
  8. Click Add.
