Dates and times

Depending on their location, dates and times reflect either the EDI date and time or the system date and time. The EDI date and time is pulled from EDI data, whereas the system date and time reflects when documents were received or processed by BTI.

Dates in the Milestone history pane reflect the date and time that the documents were received or processed by BTI. This ensures that the documents in this pane are displayed in a logical, chronological order. The Last updated field, found in the Milestone summary pane, reflects when your document or milestone was last updated in BTI. On the Dashboard, the time zone you select in Customer Center is used to show you activity from the past week, or the time frame you specify.

Other dates and times reflect the dates in the EDI data This includes all dates and times in the Milestone summary pane, except for the Last updated field, which uses the system date and time. Each milestone pulls from a different EDI field date and EDI field location, according to the default mapping configurations of EDI documents.

All dates that are displayed in the Anomalies page are based on Coordinated Universal Time (UTC).

Although some fields use the EDI date and time while others use the system date and time, this does not impact your business processes in any way.
