HIPAA Map Components in the IBM® Sterling B2B Integrator Map Editor
The following table identifies how the components of a map (groups, segments, and elements for the ANSI X12 standard) are displayed in the Sterling B2B Integrator Map Editor and work with HIPAA standards to ensure the appropriate validation is performed by the map.

will cause validation errors on performing compliance checks if the
parameter Throw an error if a field is present but marked as “Not
Used” is selected in the Map Details dialog box.
