When you receive failure messages, identify the cause of the failures and resolve the issues.

To troubleshoot issues with storage:

Procedure

  1. Identify the types of failure messages you are receiving.
  2. Obtain the logs for each of the members you want to examine.
    Tip: See Collect and export log or support files.
  3. Examine the logs to determine common characteristics of the failed transfers.
    Log entries with a prefix of BCXST indicate the storage component.
  4. Take all necessary actions to remedy the conditions that cause failed transfers.
