Logging Files With the Graphical Process Modeler

More information, including audit messages and error messages, can be found in Sterling B2B Integrator log files. Log files are available through the Operations > System > Logs menu.

The cdinterop.log files record details for all adapter activity and business processes that involve the Connect:Direct Server and Requester adapters and the related Connect:Direct services.

A new cdinterop.log is create each time the Sterling B2B Integrator server is started. At midnight, the current log file is closed and a new one is created. In addition, when the size of the current log file reaches the maximum size specified in the cdinterop log file configuration screen, it is closed and a new log file is opened. The log file name includes a date and time stamp to make each name unique.

By default, the cdinterop.log file captures audit level messages, even when logging is not enabled. When the log is enabled, all transactions are recorded, including:

  • Error messages
  • Adapter startup and shutdown
  • Adapter changes
  • Security checks
