Edit CA Certificates
You can edit a CA certificate from the Administration menu.
About this task
To edit a CA certificate:
Procedure

Choose one:
- If you use Sterling B2B Integrator, from the Administration Menu, select Trading Partner > Digital Certificates > CA.
- If you use the AS2 Edition, from the AS2 Administration menu, select Certificates.
- Using either Search or List, locate the CA certificate you want to edit and click Go!
- Next to the CA certificate you want to edit, click edit.

Select one of the following options to edit the CA certificate and click
Next:
- Edit Name or Usage of existing Certificate – To edit only the Certificate Name or the Validate When Used properties of the certificate and keeping the original certificate as is.
- Update from existing Certificate file – Click Browse to search for a certificate file from your local disk. If the selected file is a JKS store, provide the store password.
- Enter the Certificate Name.

Select the Validate When Used option and click
Next. Validation options are:
- Validity – Verifies dates in the validity period of the certificate are still in effect. If the dates are not in effect, the certificate is not used.
- Auth Chain – Constructs a chain of trust for certificates that are not self-signed. If a chain of trust cannot be constructed using valid certificates, the certificate is not used. If the certificate is self-signed, this option verifies only the certificate signature.
- Enter a name for a certificate group if you want to bundle the certificate into a certificate group. You can also add the certificate to one or more existing group(s).
- Review the CA certificate information.
- Click Finish.
