Exporting from Global Mailbox

Export resources such as mailboxes, virtual roots, and event rules in an existing system to prepare to import them into another Global Mailbox system. This is useful when you want to create a test environment, create resources, test, and move to a production environment when you are satisfied with your data.

1. Create a properties file with the selection criteria.
2. Run the exportUtility, specifying the file created in step 1 as the exportSelectionFileName.
   The following files are created:

   --exportFileName

   The export file that is generated and is used to import into the target system.

   --reportFileName

   The report file that is generated, listing the resources exported and any errors or warnings during export.

3. Review the information in the export report and resolve any error conditions.
4. Repeat step 2 until the results in the report are as intended.
