To implement the Sterling Connect:Enterprise UNIX Server Log service, complete the following tasks:

Procedure

  1. Configure the Sterling Connect:Enterprise UNIX Server Adapter to be used with this service.
  2. You can use the pre-installed copy of the Sterling Connect:Enterprise UNIX Server Log service, or create a new copy. You might want to create a new copy if you are using more than one copy of the Sterling Connect:Enterprise UNIX Server Adapter, for example. For information, search on Managing Services and Adapters.
  3. Configure the Sterling Connect:Enterprise UNIX Server Log service. For information, see Settings to Configure the Sterling Connect:Enterprise UNIX Server Log Service.
  4. Use the Sterling Connect:Enterprise UNIX Server Log service in a business process.
