Viewing virtual roots

You can view a virtual root to verify the state of a virtual root, or to determine which mailboxes the user might have access to.

About this task

To view the virtual root for a user, you must know the application that the user belongs to.

You can verify which mailboxes the user can access by viewing their mailbox permissions for all mailboxes within the virtual root.

To view the virtual root for a user:

Procedure

  1. From the User Explorer page, select an application.
  2. Click the Find a User tab.
  3. Type the name of the user in the User field.
  4. Select the user name from the Matching Users list.
    The user's virtual root path and the state of the virtual root is displayed.
