IBM Control Center event message reference
Global Mailbox event messages relay information to IBM® Control Center.
The content of each Global Mailbox message is defined by a pair of field. The pair format is as follows:
- Message ID
- Product-specific unique message identifier and short description of the problem.
- Message text
- Describes the cause of the problem and includes information to help you avoid this problem in the future.
Message IDs are formatted as GMSSSNNNNT, in which these prefixes and identifiers are the constituent components.
- GM
- The two-character prefix that identifies the Global Mailbox software brand.
- SSS
- The three character prefix extension that is used to identify one or more software components.
- NNNN
- A unique four-digit identifier for the message.
- T
- Indicates whether the message is information (I) or an error message (E).
The Global Mailbox component prefix extensions (the SSS part of the message ID) are defined as follows:
- CAS
- Indicates Cassandra related events.
- ZOO
- Indicates ZooKeeper related events.
- WMQ
- Indicates WebSphere® MQ related events.
- MGT
- Indicates management node WebSphere Application Server Liberty heartbeat events.
- ASP
- Indicates replication server related events.
- STO
- Indicates storage related events.
- MSG
- Indicates message related events.
