Adapter and service reference

AS4 Microservice provides services and adapters to help you communicate with other products to achieve your business goals.

MEIG Messaging Config adapter
The adapter is used by Sterling B2B Integrator to establish communication between AS4 Microservice and Sterling B2B Integrator. The adapter also contains storage configuration information.
Business Document Receiver adapter
The adapter is used by Sterling B2B Integrator to receive messages from AS4 Microservice over the message fabric. The adapter listens to queues and process messages that are sent to the queues. The adapter maps the messages from the queues and selects and bootstraps business processes on Sterling B2B Integrator. The adapter can also send a reply message from Sterling B2B Integrator back to the requester, if the requester asked for a reply.
Business Document Sender adapter
The adapter is used by Sterling B2B Integrator to send messages to AS4 Microservice over the message fabric.
Visibility Event Sender adapter
The adapter is used to send custom visibility events to AS4 Microservice. You must define the custom events that you want to send in the business process that calls this adapter. You only configure this adapter when you want to send custom visibility events.
Message fabric send adapter
The adapter is used by Sterling B2B Integrator to send messages to the message fabric in synchronous mode.
Message Fabric Receiver adapter
The adapter is used by Sterling B2B Integrator to receive messages from the message fabric in synchronous mode. The adapters listen to queues and process messages that are sent to the queues. The adapter maps the messages from the queues and selects and bootstraps business processes on Sterling B2B Integrator. The adapter can also send a reply message from Sterling B2B Integrator back to the requester, if the requester asked for a reply.
Storage adapter
The Storage adapter gives Sterling B2B Integrator the ability to read and write payloads that were stored in the AS4 Microservice storage subsystem.
