About Key Field Matching

Input records support the standard Sterling B2B Integrator Map Editor key field constant and code list matching. Additionally, Sterling B2B Integrator Map Editor enables you to match against fields that appear previously in the map. If you want to match against a previously mapped field, you can have up to three key fields.

If you are mapping from a join of master-detail records to an equivalent hierarchy, the translator can determine when the keys in the detail level no longer match the keys in the master level.
