Removing a message queue

Message queues enable the components in AS4 Microservice to communicate with each other. The components send messages to the queues and read messages from the queues.

About this task

Based on your requirements, you can remove a message queue if it is no longer necessary (as long as it is not used by any messaging destination or messaging receiver).

Procedure

To remove a message queue, complete the following steps.

  1. Log in to the AS4 Microservice user interface. You must have System Administrator permissions to remove a message queue.
  2. Click Exchanges > Message Queues.
  3. On the Message Queues page, click the name of the message queue that you want to remove.
  4. On the detailed view page for that message queue, click Remove.
  5. Click OK to confirm the removal of the message queue.
