Scenario 6 - Checking Out the Business Process
When you check out an existing business process with the Source Manager, you lock the business process and prevent other users from modifying it at the same time.
About this task
Use the following procedure to check out your existing business process that copies a file from Sterling B2B Integrator to Sterling Connect:Direct®:
Procedure
- Log in to Sterling B2B Integrator.
- From the Business Process menu, select Manager.
- On the Business Process Manager page, in the Search pane, type the existing business process name in the Process Name box and click Go.
- Click Source Manager for your business process.
- On the Source Manager page, click check out for the version of the business process you want to check out.
- Click OK in the dialog box to lock the file for editing.
- In the File Download dialog box, click Save to save a copy of the business process to your local file system.
- In the Save As dialog box, navigate to the directory where you want to save the business process, type the business process file name in the File name box, and click Save.
