Encrypting database passwords (Windows)

About this task

To encrypt the database password:

Procedure

  1. Stop Sterling B2B Integrator.
  2. Complete the following steps:
    1. Click Start.
    2. Right-click Command Prompt and select Run as administrator. The Administrator: Command Prompt dialog box is displayed.
    3. Navigate to \<install_dir>\bin.
  3. Enter enccfgs.cmd.
  4. Enter setupfiles.cmd.
  5. Enter deployer.cmd.
  6. Enter startWindowsService.cmd to start Sterling B2B Integrator.
  7. Enter your passphrase.
