Message deletion

Mailbox administrators can improve system response time by deleting messages from a mailbox.

You can delete messages from a mailbox in two ways in Mailbox Explorer:
  • Select message and click Delete.
    Note: To delete multiple messages, press and hold Shift or Ctrl and select the messages that you want to delete.
  • Open the message and click Delete.

You cannot recover deleted messages, so take precautions to avoid deleting messages that you need to retain.
