Searching for a mailbox by mailbox path

If you know the path to a mailbox, you can go directly to the mailbox without opening the intermediate mailboxes in the directory.

About this task

You must know the full path to go directly to a specific mailbox.

A mailbox path describes the location of a mailbox. A mailbox path is unique to each mailbox.

To search for a mailbox by the mailbox path:

Procedure

  1. From the Mailbox Explorer page, click Go to....
  2. Click Go to mailbox path.
  3. Enter a mailbox path in the Enter mailbox path... field.
    Important: Begin the path with a forward slash (/) and specify all parent mailboxes, for example:
    /topmailbox/middlemailbox/mailbox
  4. Click Go.
    The mailbox is opened that is specified by the mailbox path.
