Considerations when Grouping Connect:Direct Server Adapters
When you configure multiple Connect:Direct Server Adapter into an adapter group, each member of the group must use the same Connect:Direct Server Node Name. For example, if you have two Connect:Direct Server Adapters named CDSA-1 and CDSA-2, and the Connect:Direct Server Node name is CD.DALLAS, then both CDSA-1 and CDSA-2 should use CD.DALLAS as their Node name.
Tip: It's a good practice to name your Adapter Group after
the Connect:Direct Server Node name, like CD.DALLAS in the above case. This group name
helps a service find and use the adapters.
Tip: Since every adapter in the group shares the same
Netmap, using the Connect:Direct Server Node name as the Netmap name is also a good
practice. For the example given, you should name the group’s Netmap CD.DALLAS.
