Odette FTP (OFTP) Enhancements
Sterling B2B Integrator 5.2.4.2 or higher provides enhanced OFTP capabilities.
Import and Export OFTP Profiles
Instead of using the command line tool in OFTP Partner Manager, you can now Import and Export OFTP Profiles in Sterling B2B Integrator by using the Import/Export option in Resource Manager.
Two new resource tags for OFTP Profile and OFTP Profiles with dependencies are now available in Sterling B2B Integrator for version 5242 and above:
- OFTP Profiles only: Select this option when the OFTP profiles are exported without dependent resources, such as certificates, business processes, and users.
- OFTP Profiles with dependences: Select this option with dependent resources such as certificates, business processes, and users associated with the profile that is exported.
- When exporting OFTP profiles with dependences, you are prompted for a password upon export. The same password must be used when importing.
- During export and import of OFTP resources from one instance to another, ensure there is a identical system passphrase.
OFTP Scheduler Enhancement
A new parameter has been added in the Local Point Contract (LPC) for the OFTP Schedule to provide you with the ability to specify the number of hours that successful records are kept in the OFTP_OBJECT table for the selected LPC.
Parameter Keep Record Interval is used to keep successful records in the OFTP_OBJECT table for the selected LPC instead of using the OFTP scheduler that keeps the value as a centralized value. Instead, you can override this setting by using the Keep Record Interval parameter. Positive numbers keep records for that amount of hours.
- 3 = 3 hours
- 2 = 2 hours
- 1 = 1 hour
- 0 = Keeps records for an unlimited time
- -1 = Default value
- -ve = The scheduler uses a value from the LPCs field

File Scheduled Timeout in VAN Scenario
If timeout occurs in VAN due to the configured parameter, File Scheduled Time Out, when an ESID is present, the NERP code for that applicable timeout appears; however, if an ESID is not present, a NERP code of 35 appears indicating that the file(s) were not delivered to the recipient.

Remove Transaction Data
All OFTP transactional data can now be deleted using the PurgeAll.sh script in the install/bin folder for your Sterling B2B Integrator installation. Use this script to delete all transactional data from tables and OFTP related tables.
