Integrating digital certificates
AS4 Microservice accepts PKCS12-encoded digital certificates that were exported from another IBM® application and allows you to import those certificates into AS4 Microservice.
About this task
You must be logged on as an administrator to perform these steps. This migration ability facilitates the quick and easy transfer of digital certificates that you use in other applications.
If you want to transfer a PKCS12-encoded certificate from one application to another, the certificate and private key must be imported before they can be used. The process of importing the certificate places it in the correct certificate folder. The private keys are transferred with their certificates. This function also allows you to transfer a certificate and private key from one computer to another.
Procedure
- Follow the instructions in the documentation for the application for which you want to export a PKCS12 certificate to export the certificate from another IBM application.
- Log in to AS4 Microservice with master account administrator access credentials.
- Select Systems Management > Digital Certificates.
- In the appropriate Digital Certificates page, click Add.
- In the Add Digital Certificates page page, enter the required values. See <link to be inserted here> for more information.
- Click Upload and select the exported certificate file. PKCS12 encoded certificates use the file extension .pfx or .p12.
- Click Save to save the digital certificate and return to the Digital Certificates collection page.
