This table contains a matrix of the varying levels of support for user exits across IBM® product offerings:

Sterling Gentran:Server® for Windows
Supports calling ActiveX Automation Servers using Microsoft Component Object Model (COM) technology.
Sterling Gentran:Server for UNIX
Supports calling C libraries through a fixed Application Program Interface (API).
Sterling B2B Integrator
Supports calling Java™ objects using Java Reflection APIs.

User Exit Migration Tip

If your map contains a user exit, create a Java class that does the same thing as the user exit and then use the Sterling B2B Integrator extended rule capabilities to call the Java class.
