Updating a user group
A user group defines the roles and permissions that are accorded to individual AS4 Microservice users. Each AS4 Microservice user is incorporated in a user group that identifies their user authentication credentials and scope of authority. A Master Account Administrator can configure and maintain groups. After a user is added to a group, the user can view and access only information that is based on their associated privilege.
About this task
A AS4 Microservice Master Account administrator user profile has permission to create
objects such as user groups in their domain. The system default groups
cannot be altered; however, the administrator can create and update
new groups to further refine the roles and permissions that are accorded
to users in a group. Each group references a user category, which
has a related set of default permissions and operations, and views
that the user can access. A user can be a member of more than one
group.
Note:
You can assign custom role definitions to a user group or groups.
