Creating a user group

A user group defines the roles and permissions that are accorded to individual AS4 Microservice user. Each user of AS4 Microservice is incorporated in a user group that identifies their user authentication credentials and scope of authority. A Master Account Administrator can configure and maintain groups. After a user is added to a group, the user can view and access only information that is based on their associated privilege.

About this task

A AS4 Microservice Master Account administrator user profile has permission to create objects such as user groups in their domain. The system provides the following default groups that cannot be altered. Each group references a user category, which has a related set of default permissions and operations, and views that the user can access. A user can be a member of more than one group.

Note:

When you create a custom role definition, you can assign it to a user group or groups.
