Set Up Elements to Use a Namespace

About this task

After the namespace prefix is defined, you must set up the elements that use the namespace.

Procedure

  1. Right-click an Element icon and select Properties from the shortcut menu.
  2. Select the Namespace tab.
  3. Select Use this namespace.
    Note: Do note type the namespace prefix in the box.
  4. Click OK to save the namespace information.
  5. If any of the elements also have the XML attribute created, define the namespace prefix and namespace URI for the element using the instructions for Define a Namespace Prefix and URI.
